Most families have one. If you’re it, its obvious at family gatherings.

My dad's youngest step brother would knock on your door if he needed something, other than that he and his kids would ignore you in public. Bothered me when I was a teenager, but after several other relatives told me that he was like with most of the family I got over it. He did a couple of his brother wrong in money deals over the years also

My brother is the black sheep of the family if you will. Still love him to death but since he's the only die hard liberal in the family, he stays quiet when politics come up

That would be me... First, because I was a "divorced man" marrying the baby of the family. Later because I put her dad and uncles off the farm when they drove through first year alfalfa during a rainy deer season to avoid getting mud on their ride. Yeah, I'm that guy...

42 years later, still married to the "baby". And, outlasted the two other son-in-laws, combined...

I had a coworker several years ago that told me when the holidays came around that his mom would bring his dinner plate out to his car and he ate in the car, as he wasnt welcome in anyones home. Never told me why this was and I never asked him

Ours is semi opposite.
Went to a family funeral in W.Va straight from work in Carhartts. My wife was stunned. Told her I’d be the best dressed guy there except for dad in his suit. I was right.

Sister asked someone where the deceased was working. Got a shocked look and crickets….. I busted out laughing. Told her, you really think these idiots aren’t all on welfare and more than likely disability to pay for their Oxy habits?
JFC…..

I quit going to family picnics because the deadbeats would show with nothing but a 2litre of Dr. Pepper and we’d have to bring 4 dishes to make sure there was enough to feed everyone.
