I got the shot.
Had the 2nd shot (Pfizer) 2nd week of April.
Felt like crap the day after. Been fine since.
After knowing folks that had bad cases of it, and myself having a couple close call exposures, I called it worth the risk and got it. Been vaccinated for everything from measles to tetanus at this point anyway.

I've not had the shot. I have had Covid. I'm not pushing for or against the shot.
I do know a lot of folks that had Covid. Some (like me) didn't have a problem with it. Some had it ROUGH. Some died.
I do know a lot of folks that have taken the Covid Vaccine (not sure which vaccine each of them took). One of them had a rough day after the second shot. Aside from that none of them I know had any problems.
Make your own decision. If I look at the plain facts I can see from people I know and use a little common sense, I've got to say it's wise to take the vaccine.
The Right's "sky is falling" thoughts on the vaccine are about like the Left's "sky is falling" thoughts on everything else.

Good point. There's no reliable test for it. Message on the screen told me. Could say screw the test results and just go with the obvious. Fever and aches for 24 hours, little stuffy nose for a couple of days, felt tired, not to bad for me. Wife didn't have a fever but was much more run down than I was for several days, lost sense of taste and smell, more of a cough and snotty. 2 kids were same as her except one had fever. My Dad had it rough with a fever for 13 or 14 days straight. Mom had few symptoms. All of us tested positive......or at least the screen told us positive a couple of days later.

He's a good guy and a conservative gun owner etc. He believes in the vaccine and told me that 30% of the people who get covid will have long term neurological damage of some sort. I told him I thought it was supposed to be the shot that caused the long term damage and that I'm worried because I already took the Vax. I'm holding off on letting my kids get the shot. Bb

Here locally they've been setting up free covid vaccine inoculation sites in the parking lot of a little family owned fast food restaurant. Initially there were very few takers but after the first couple of times with low turnouts they apparently have convinced the Hispanics to get them as the last couple of times there has been a long line of mostly younger Hispanics (and all wearing face masks, I should add) waiting to get the shots. Still very few Caucasians of any age standing in line, though.

Was at my Docs last week for my physical, Doc trued to talk me into getting the shot.did a EKG and said that iv had a heart attack, get tested this Friday. Said I may have to get the shot.
