I'm looking for data for suppressed loads in 9mm. I found some titegroup and 147 RN Berrys. I heard that titegroup is harsh on baffles of a suppressor? Any truth to this? Thanks.

I don't know but I want a mold for a truncated cone in 147 to 150 grn and never push it much more than 950 to 1,000 fps. Be Well, RZ.

I'm just asking here but would Trailboss work quite well? Be Well, RZ.

I use 800X in the longer barrels and Titegroup in the shorter ones. Don't like the truncated ones because of the OAL and feeding issues in the subguns. My go to load used to be a 158 RNP over 3.2 of 231 in the M76, it hit steel Hard... My target velocities vary with barrel length and bullet weights .. I like the rounder nose on the 150 gr super , easier to tell them apart from the std 9mm ammo
I don't think the TB would be a good idea, It doesn't like to be compressed and there's not much room in a 9 or 45. and its kind of PITA to work with. I save it for the MH 577/450 cause its already a pain....

I have yet to wear a can out, and a subgun with a 10" +- barrel should be about as hard on one as anything. I doubt the average shooter with a pistol will cause noticeable damage. I use ultra sound gel and it helps keep them clean and also reduces the report. Some cans may not be suitable for wet use...

the biggist headache for a can, as I understand it is deposition inside...
lead is worse than powder residue because Hopps doesn't remove it...
that said
I would think that the more complete the burn by the time the projectile enters the can, the better.. that would favor faster powders, or light loads..
tightgroup is pretty fast based on burnrate charts..

burning powder residue in the can is probably a bad thing too.

I like 4.0 gn of vihtavuori n340 with a 147 grain flat point from RMR.
Clean burning and quiet but still hot enough to cycle things property.

Nothing 9mm will be harsh on the baffles of a can rated for supersonic rifle rounds.

I just bought 800 rounds of these Berry’s 147 grain RNs. My plan is to use CFE 223. We shall see. I plan on running them through a H&k VP9-L optics ready with a RCM barrel but really looking for good results out of my B&T APC9 with a JK Armament 155P can.
