What caliber? I may have reamer(s)and gauges if needed.

It's a 260 rem. I really appreciate the offer but it's my first custom built rifle. I've watched several DIY videos and I hate to admit it but it's a little beyond what I'm comfortable tackling myself. I would need to purchase several tools (barrel wrench, action vise, ect) for it that would just gather dust after the project completion also.

I think there is a smith @ Gahms but if there is , know nothing about him. Don’t know any to reco since Aaron and Cliffy quit.

Send it outside if you want it done well. Many, MANY, great smith's and shops in the lower 48.

Aaron lost my buddies marlin 45-70. He made up excuses for a year. When he finally got pisted enough to demand it back he couldn't find it.

Ruh Roh.

I’ve heard good things about his smithing, but less so about his business acumen.

Moot (mute) point now.
