Went over to look and clicked the Humor threads and saw that they are still moderating it to death. Glad their Moderators have the power in their fingertips and show it. Yea them! What a bunch of powermongers. You can't bump a "for sale" thread to help a friend get back up to the top. Only a question or an I'll take it. Life is too short for that stuff. It used to be a forum with a lot of great technical stuff that was easily accessed. I'm sorry to see it go that way. I wish them luck. Be Well, RZ.

I've never been there. Never heard of it other then when I joined here.
TLee mentioned he came over here after some sort of purge on Shooters.

Different "Shooters". The "Shooters" which many of us frequented ceased to exist nearly twenty years ago. It died quickly after the founders sold it to some internet guys with zero clue about running an outdoor and firearms enthusiasts website.

I was one of the early departures from Shooters, to the then new ‘Fire! Shooters was good for a while .... then it was taken control by some moderators that apparently got their asses whipped a lot in school. They are on an overzealous, power trip !
As Campfire member #164......I don’t regret the move here! memtb

Heck, you can't even ask a question or say "nice gun" on the S&W forum. Buncha frustrated bathroom monitors over there, too.

Well, now there is Shooter's forum dot com. There is Shooter's Forum @ accurate shooter dot com. There may be more not found via 30 seconds on Google.
I think we were all affiliated with "Shooters Talk". I am fairly certain that nothing remains of that forum as many former members have complained about lack of any archives for over fifteen years.
I made hard copy of a couple discussions back then. "Burnt Powder" gave excellent advice pertaining to use of common dies for loading of uncommon cartridges. I have not seen those pages in a few years. But I can almost see the site logo in my failing memory.
It sure seems like it was "Shooters Talk Forums".
