I have some cabelas gift cards and points that I think I'll use on a new lower-end fish finder/depth finder for my boat. Budget is under $250. Is there a particular make that you guys have found to be well-made and reliable? My last one was a Lowrance. It was ok until I hit something in the water and broke the transponder; replacements never worked properly. If they are still considered good products I'd not hesitate to buy that brand again, but wondered what others thought. Use will be inshore sounds and rivers. Thanks.
