Just attempted to post something in classifieds and attached first jpg file of 107kb but it would not let me attach the second which was a smaller file, saying that I had reached my maximum of 2mb. I'm an experienced poster and this is what I have always done in the past. I'm aware that photobucket is preferred but is it now mandatory?

I think all photos have to be posted from some site that stores the codes of your images. I don't think you can post a picture on here directly from your hard drive like some websites do. I use imageshack and so far so good.

Postimage is easy to use.
Couple clicks and post your image.

Jim, I've been attaching jpg files directly from my hard drive since I've been on here in 2011; I just checked my posts and the last time I attached a photo file that way was April 2020 - something must have changed

Since photobucket crapped on us. (Their site, their choice), I have been using Ric's image hosting.
You can not miss the instructions in every forum.
