One of the worst hangovers in my life on that stuff, down at the Rio Hardy for a "fishing trip". Must have been about as hot as Oregon is when we tried taking the boat out the next day. Not enough beer in Mexico to cure that hangover, and no A/C in my bud's trailer down there either.

Anyhow, I don't think Stubbs will ever be the same now. One can never return to normalcy after a life like that. I hope it's not ingrained yet, there may be hope if he hasn't formed the "habit".

Stubby got to watch a guide boat trolling in the late afternoon for Chinook at the jaws of the Nehalem.
Pretty calm day actually...Not many boats ever attempt to cross out into the ocean from our “jaws” or “Bar” due to the shallow depth of water. At only 14’-20’ft depending on the tide, it can generate some sizable waves.





This is Nehalem Bay looking into the blink of an eye town of Wheeler, OR....Yes, the same Wheeler name as Mayor of Portland, Ted Wheeler. His early family put down stakes in these parts.

I’d hope his great, great, great grandparents would of liked to see him drown in this bay when he was a small child...Kidding ? Maybe, maybe not...
