OP Ridgewalker Campfire Member R Joined: Dec 2014 Posts: 128 Oregon	Haven't had any problems so far. But I've heard that the EGR system can be problematic with the factory system. The truck gets mainly highway use over here. In looking at the stock system compared to the factory it seems like the upgrade might be an improvement. Looks to be about 1200 to 1500 for the replacement. So just wondering if anyone else has made the change.

MAC Campfire Tracker Joined: Jun 2001 Posts: 4,174 Retired CPO USN. Amarillo TX	I have a 2006 Ford with the 6.0 that is bulletproofed. It runs like a raped ape. Lots of power. The factory 6.0 had a head gasket issue and an EGR issue but bulletproofing takes care of that and is a lot cheaper than dropping $60K on a new truck. You get out of life what you are willing to accept. If you ain't happy, do something about it!
