In fact, on our too infrequent UGB hunts, I routinely pester him to write more about good doubles, wild birds and our hard working 4-legged companions. I highly recommend his books "Shotguns for Wingshooting" and "Western Skies - Bird Hunting in the Rockies and on the Plains"! Pursuit may be, it seems to me, perfect without possession. I've been hunting with sxs's for 65 yrs, while I've tried semi-autos, pumps and O/U's I can find anything that kills game like a sxs for me. With the shotgun barrels on my drilling, called into 44 yards. My favorite waterfowl shotgun A Robust kind of morning Good times in JB's home state Last edited by erich; 07/06/21.
