Need some info on pruning my tomatoes. In the past I have just let them grow but this year I'm in a tighter space and need to prune them to stay in their area. Question is, if I top my tomato plant to keep it from growing taller will it continue to produce fruit beyond what is currently on the plant?

I would not prune the main stem

Old time method is to tie them up so high and let the top flop over to shade the base
