I think that Canadians should refine their own tar sand oil in Canada and then sell the finished product to whoever wants to buy it.

Why not build a pipeline to a BC port that would be totally inside Canada?

They should but there seems to be an issue, it being they can't get a permit from Trudeau to build a refinery anywhere near the coast.

Trudeau government bought a pipeline that was going to give up building an expansion., It's called the Trans Mountain. It ends at the port of Vancouver.

Keystone was being built to supply Gulf refineries with heavy tar sands crude.. For the Americans it makes more sense to use their own oil.duh. Thanks to shale, they have lots.
