Added a few things to get it ready for this years whitetail season. McMillan Hunters Edge Stock Hardened Action Screws Custom Bolt Handle Mountain Tactical Bolt Shoud Mountain Tactical Bottom Metal Fluted Bolt by LRI Murphy Precision Picatinny Rail Seekins Rings Leupold VX-3HD 4.5-14x50 Scope Beautiful rifle to behold, but is the camouflaged stock just for looks or for a purpose, in light of the shiny bits on the receiver and barrel? Either way, well done!

That is a nice set up! I have mainly been carrying my 7mm-08 the last few years but I am partial to the 30-06.

Not sure what your powder charge is, but I bet she’ll tighten up with that first driving band in the neck.
Mine liked a Barnes jump.

Mine liked a Barnes jump. 54.2 grains of H4895. So push it in until I hit the first band?

I had a Remington Ti 30-06 that shot best with the front band in the neck.
I was at 54.5grs H4895
When I die I hope I don't start voting democrat.

They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.
