While I do not agree with removing the statue, or any other historic statue, I wish that the da*ned media would quit using over the top descriptions of events. The statue was not toppled, it was removed - they overstated what occured to either get folks to click on the article or it is a blatant attempt to stir things up. What is wrong with describing what happended without all of the made-up drama about it.

I have stood at the foot of that statue, saw it on my elk hunt, spent a couple of nights in Wilsall. First year in feet of snow the next in shirt sleeves. Met some dang fine folks out there. Y'all need to build a fence on the California side...
