30% vinegar will kill almost anything in less than 24 hours when spritzed on the leaves. This is NOT household cooking vinegar or even cleaning vinegar (which are 5% and 6% strength, respectively). You can find 30% strength vinegar at larger home supply stores.

Do not burn it. If the smoke gets in your lungs, it carries the oil with it giving a worse reaction than on your skin Tordon will kill it,but some states restrict sales to licensed sprayers
If God wanted you to walk and carry things on your back, He would not have invented stirrups and pack saddles

I use Roundup mixed with Crossbow in a 4 gallon tank sprayer. I mix it at full strength for 4 gallons for each agent.

The “Crossbow” mentioned (2,4-d and Triclopyr), or the “brush killers” sold at some stores (same chemicals, but weaker concentration). Add a little soap or other surfactant.

Sorry, guys, this is what I get for multitasking. Should have entitled the thread: Is there anything better to kill poison ivy than Roundup?
Thanks for the suggestions.

Round-up works great but add a tablespoon per gallon of Dawn dish liquid washing liquid. It sticks to the leaves better and longer and you will get a better result.

Roundup works, but it takes forever to kill it. If I had an ass load to kill I would get something more industrial, but I don't have a ton of it that I'm worried about.

A Hoe is cheaper and kills it instantly. Chop the roots up in the dirt a little. Done.
