Has anyone played with the Bergera 22 bolt gun? I see some barreled actions for sale and wonder if they are built on a 700 pattern. Anyone know?

There are some on gunbroker.com. I think I'll wait a while to see how they shake out. I got all distracted by the LH action and carbon fiber wrapped barrel.

I ordered and received a left hand carbon fiber barreled action 2 weeks ago. Everything looks top notch except the carbon fiber on mine was offset to the right by quite a bit (roughly 1/16 inch offset from the steel core). I didn’t even try to shoot it and sent it back to Bergara for repair. Bergara was very quick to respond and said that it was definitely out of spec, so we will see how it turns out.

The one on gunbroker.com is over $800. Does that sound right to you?
$879 actually.

I've bought 2 (complete rifles). They are a 700 foot print. I changed triggers because I had a couple. They shoot really well. I'm not sorry I bought them.

Not sure about bmr but I believe sig was asking about the b-14r which is essentially a rimfire clone of a Remington 700 (a.k.a poor mans vudoo)

I have been shooting a LH B-14R with carbon wrapped barrel for the past month. So far, I am impressed with this rifle! i am still testing ammo but RWS Target (like 15 years old) is shooting quite well. I have two bricks of SK Long Range due to arrive mid-week...

We shoot a long range steel match with the farthest three targets an eight inch circle at 300, and sight inch square at 360, and an 10x12 inch plate 412 yards. Given our ever present Idaho winds it is plenty challenging! In three years, nobody has shot a possible (perfect) score!

Sounds pretty good. Keep us apprised on how the ammo shoots in it.

I've got a great friend of mine who picked up a carbon barreled model. His shoots great, like 1/2 MOA at times and almost always MOA or smaller shooting Center-X.

I talked with another friend yesterday who purchased 3 at the same time, one for him, one for his son, and another for his father.

He called me to ask some questions because he is concerned that none of the 3 will hang with his CZ 457 Pro Varmint.

I'm sure it's like anything else, there will be some that are standouts and others that are a complete letdown, while most will fall somewhere in the middle.
