Watch your chickens, sometimes they get the eggs stuck in them. I forget the term maybe eggbound. they will pour alot of fluid out of themselves and the eggs dont get layed or are delayed in getting layed. The chicken dies.

No she's actually on the other end of that spectrum. I think she's 3 years old.

Seen a few eggs with 3 yolks. They were that size.

The ones with two yolks are pretty big too.

Maybe I'm blind, but what's weird about it. I see an egg that's not white, but that's not unusual, and it has some spots/streaks on it. Again that's not too unusual. The spots and streaks are usually blood that was in the shell gland/uterus.

Make sure your laying hens get plenty of calcium and have free choice water.

added: In breeds of chickens that lay 'colored eggs', seeing an egg like that is a lot more common.

You g hens as well as older hens will drop odd colored shells as well as multiple yolks. Sometimes no yolk.

Young = developing ovaries

Old = ovaries shutting down.

That egg looks to be age appropriate Cracked it yet?

If one of the hens drop an egg outside in their run the egg turns bi-coloured. Guess the dampness of the ground changes the shell colouring. If they lay their eggs where they are supposed to they are fine, nice brown eggs. Chickens being chickens.
