That old Winchester short film on moose hunt was on Youtube but some years ago they took it down. Ive been looking for that for some time. Thanks for that link to it.

That M71 film was a hoot. What a piece of Americana. I laughed when the fellow, after loading his model 12, threw the empty box on the ground to discard. Different times.

I love the border crossing and the tossing of the shotgun cartridge box. It also seems everyone was extremely hooked on tabacco in that era (gross).

I lived for many years not to far away from Iron Mountain, MI. Claude Parmalee was well known in the area as a rifle shooting competitor, local dance hall owner, and Winchester salesman. He also was a armed guard at the Winchester plant in Alton, IL during the war years.
