The problem is not just the immediate future of handguns and all gun ownership it's after people like us are gone. Most here can't be indoctrinated into going along with the communist/leftist idea of no guns but our grandkids can and are being taught that guns are bad. You give these people no more than 2 more generations and they will be asked to ban all gun ownership. If these future Americans are to have freedom it's us that need to step up and do something. Forget about being a coward and let your mind wander on the idea of what that "something" is. Here's a hint, our lives, our fortunes and our sacred honor. God help us! Jim, that is the fear I have. That those who come after us will not have the fortitude, or initiative for that matter, to continue to push back against the gun grabbers. Without guns in the hands of citizens, the future of our country is a foregone conclusion. Not a mystery novel. The left has no restraint. Remember in the past how they masked their true intentions? They've quit doing that for the most part. I used to think it was our side that would start a shooting war in this nation but I was wrong. If they had restraint they'd leave us alone but it's getting harder for them to do that. No they will let their lust overcome them and they will force our hand. It's somewhat like what happened in Kenya with the Mau Mau Uprising. The leaders were secretly training the tribes and these people were to wait until everything was in place for the all out attack on the whites. The problem was the lust for the killing overcame the "generals" and a few jumped the gun. That gave the whites an insight and a little time to react. I hope our enemies overplay their hands toward us. Jim, I agree.. and am old enough to remember how the left masked their true intentions in the past. They no longer do so, either because they think they're close enough and strong enough now to push their totalitarian agenda (socialist, communist; call it whatever you want) over the top, or they feel they must get it done now during this period of opportunity with their control of the 3 branches.Like you, I also believe their reckless lust for "the final solution" has removed any restraint from their minds and clouded their ability for strategic thinking. In other words, their hubris is ill-founded and they are prime for the picking, if and only if, we can get the ballot and Dominion problems resolved. You last sentence explains the first. "They" have perfected Election Fraud. It has been there for decades, but now they have complete and total control of "Who Counts The Votes". Nothing is left to chance, every election is now a selection. "They" no longer need to hide behind the curtain disguising their true agenda as they no longer need or want constituents. Now that The Ballot Box, The Judicial System, The Justice System are gone, truly gone, they only have one obstacle left and that is The Second Amendment. After "they" steal the 2022 elections and add a few more Democrats to the US Senate, the Filibuster rule will be rescinded and soon after Legislation, supported by the courts will render millions of Americans instant felons. It is going to be interesting whether or not we fight, or fail and whether or not LEO and NG will do their bidding.

Been listening to the gun control paranoia since RFK was assassinated in 1968, fast forward to 2021 we still have our guns in spite of all the gun control proponents myriad efforts. Not altogether true; we don’t have the same freedoms in that arena that we did back then. Furthermore there are many areas of the country where the right to bear arms has been very much infringed upon. We’re frogs in a heating pot and as fewer people use firearms for themselves the rationale for the 2nd amendment fades in the minds of the electorate.

Well, in the past, much of the call for Gun Control on the Federal Level was just campaign fodder on both sides. Actually passing legislation, would have removed a key arrow from their campaign quiver. Today is a different story. Now that they have complete control over elections, “ they” no longer need to rally support, kiss babies and make promises they have no intention of keeping. The ballot box is dead. So now the call for Gun Control is real, it is no longer campaign fodder claiming it’s needed for a “safer” America and “for the children”. Our right to keep and bear arms is the only obstacle left to further “their “ communist agenda. They have complete control of elections, our justice system, our judicial system and of course the media, all that’s left is to control The People, all the people and they can’t accomplish that as long as we are armed.
