Very cool story, DF.

That is a wonder pistol. I bet it would love a diet of wadcutters.

That sure is a beauty, Dirt.
With the box and original sales receipt no less. Will be a great revolver with some wadcutter ammo, pure fun.

Just as nice as she looked in the pics from the seller. Tiny bit of leading in the barrel, but no biggy.

Very nice. What about the price back in 1971. If I see it clearly there was a bill in the box. And - did you find the ammo?

Oh dang, thanks for reminding me. It's the original receipt. You guys are gonna laugh.

I'll post it up. smile

Gotta love a K38...I've had several. This one is from '51, with a set of Herrett's stocks.

According to the inflation calculator the 115.50 will be 775 today!

What article was bought for 5.78? I can't read it.

Are there other favorites?

Do you own one or can you get one easily without going to the source? If so, I say yes, if not then I say no.

Hi Bob, beautiful revolvers. The model 10 has a 5" barrel, or is it a 6"? It looks like a 5 to me but I'm not completely sure.
