Hank... can you explain what the difference is between the two version's of the Canadian Skinner? Sure. My first Canadian skinner was the small version. Folks took to the design pretty quick. Soon afterwards I began receiving requests for a larger version. I took my pattern and enlarged it by 15% in my office copy machine. The larger one has a 3” blade. That larger version has been my biggest seller the last, oh, 7-8 years. Recently I have received requests to retain the large version’s handle size but lengthen the blade to about 3 1/4”. That small change has been well liked too!

The blade profile seems like a excellent compromise of point and belly. I can’t wait to get it bloody this season.
