Steve, Bill here. You were right about the 17 fireball reamer, they have one but the smith seems to think it's a big job. Says the savage mod. 25s have a pressed in bbl. Thinks it's to involved to bother. May screw up bbl. taking it out etc. etc. Oh well, may just leave it a 17 hornet it is fun. We'll see, thanks again for your time. Just wasn't in the cards to have a 17 fireball. Bill out. 🐾👣🐾👣🇨🇦

Too bad it didn't work out, Bill. Maybe you can keep an eye out at a gun show for a used rifle, or something with a threaded barrel.
