Yes. Years ago many folks were of the opinion that the communist eastern European countries and the US would pass each other going in opposite direction. At the time it was hard to imagine a world without a Soviet Union without popping a nuke or two. Now it appears that we are about to pass heading in opposite directions.





The US doesn't but nearly every other country does. Although, the US does seem to ignore those with both Israeli and US passports. They've even seemed to have infested the US.gov bureaucracy with folks having a foot in both countries.

The US doesn't condone dual citizenship but they do allow it.
My ol lady has dual citizenship (France).

As far as dual citizenship, pick one. Or fugk away off.
