My neighbor has the above rifle he has decided to sell that belonged to his uncle. It was purchased new in 1907/1908. He says It's in 90 to 95% condition. Also has the original gun case and 3 or 4 boxes of ammo.
I have not seen the items yet. I've checked the auction sites, but not much out there for the gun.

What do you think would be a fair price for this.

Thanks
Nash

The 07, in 351 Caliber, mfg. in 1907-1957, with a total of approx. 58,490
Was the 3rd in a line, of the Semi Auto rifles that Winchester put out!
1903-.22 cal., 1905-,.32 or .35 cal., 1907-, 351, cal. and the, 1910, in 451 cal.

20 inch Barrels were standard for these, all 4 models, as your 351 cal. Rifle used a 5 or 10 shot box magazine.

The 351 self loading caliber, wasn't really considered a good deer round, more a medium caliber for Coyotes, and mid range animals as far as hunting was concerned.
It was too powerful, for small game.

If your Rifle is in the Condition that you say it is and mfg. that early, without pics, and a serial # to verify, probably any where in the vicinity of $500.00-$700.00 Bucks,
In my opinion!
For reference you can look online at Gunbroker, and the other gun Auctions for prices sold for, just by googling the model itself!

Well, I ended up buying the rifle. Not quite as good of shape as was described, but in good condition for a rifle that was manufactured in 1907.
Knowing the full family history of this firearm is interesting.
Was purchased by the sellers great uncle in 1907. He owned a hunting lodge in the Adirondack Mountains. There were alot of nice hunting stories of the sellers time spent there.

Along with the rifle the original canvas t/d case and some 1950's ammo were included. S/N is 597X.
