That is Blue, and he's over 80 now so I guess he looks a mite older.

Swamplord;
That's a grand catch of ooligan as they call them on our part of the coast.

Fantastic thread all, am really enjoying it.

Yard bear from last fall.

Triplet mulies from last year, which are proverbial hen's teeth in my part of the world.

There were two bucks and a doe. The bucks would hang out with the doe even into this spring when she had a single.
[Linked Image]

This is the two bucks doing babysitting duty - seeing what this year's fawn is up to underneath the deck - they like it there because the ear flies don't bother them.

More to come.

More yard critters;

Another little buck under the deck - this is off the master bedroom.

[Linked Image]

Largest yard buck up until this year.

[Linked Image]

I'm fairly certain this is the one coming up, but in 2019. Never saw it in the yard in 2020

Has the same face, about the right age and has the extra kickers on the brow tines on the left side.

Couple days previous to the photo above.

I'll look some more for some scenery shots that got lost in the mix when Photopail went away.

The world was black and white back then.

Lots of truth in that statement.

Heyyyy mannnnnnn, (big draw. Off a cigarette)

I don’t give a fugk what they told you. Renegade is a good guy. If 10,000 folks were spawned from space age regeneration in every US Capitol city simultaneously , and given an emergency had to use Renegade’s attitude towards the USA. We’d all be better off .

You did your late dog the best burial style I’ve ever witnessed. Dogs are truly indeed man’s best friend. You can easily argue they are much more than that. Personally, I have loved dogs more than actual family members. I’m a huge dog person.

Thanks kindly sir, for sure barring dry years like this it's been a grand place to call home and raise kids.

Had a doe with twins, the old girl with the single lawn fawn and several quail families inspecting my painting today in fact.

Sometimes they get a little too pushy however.

Really have no clue what it was he wanted inside?

Yard deer;
This is the first time we've tried to grow a garden in about 20 years, so knowing what I know about deer, I built a skookum fence that's 80" tall, decent gate, the whole 9 yards.... so I thought.

Just now when she arrived in the yard, my good wife announced that one of the yard twins was inside the garden, so apparently it's figured out it can squeeze in between the bars of the gate.

I see I've got some modification work to do tomorrow morning.

I also note one fawn is a good fawn and knows it doesn't belong in the garden! grin

Rene, this was my once in a lifetime dog Bailey.

That last pic of him is with my grandson, never left his side when he was outdoors. Got a call from animal control one day when my grandson was 4 years old. They told me the that Bailey had bit someone. Turns out after some talking to a cop and the animal control guy. The man my dog bit was reaching over the fence after my grandson, the dog bit him pretty bad. They ended up arresting the prick and hauled him off to jail. The animal control guy told me that I had better bring home the biggest ribeye steak that night for him so I did. Only person he ever bit.
