Someone bought me one for Christmas when I was a kid.
What a piece of junk. My kid got me one when he was 5, and we took it to Alaska that year. I caught steelhead to 14 pounds with it in the small stream running out of Kegan Lake down to the salt water. It was a lot of fun and easy to pack. I still have it somewhere in one of the storage sheds...need to get it out and run some new line on it.

Buddy of mine found one in an Antique Store a while back. Still new in the box. Said he gave $30 for it. I told him he got “took”. 🤠

I remember as kid that my friend had a pocket fisherman. It was easier to fit on his bike but I could cast a lot further.

Anybody remember those telescoping fishing rods they made in the early 1970’s ? I had one I used on my dirt bike and for backpacking as a kid.
