Compared to me, anyways. 🤠

I drank a bunch of beer with Billy 12-14 years ago. He came into the brewery I ran, asked about some beers, invited me to sit and drink with him.
He was a hell of a nice guy. Funny, engaging, and down to earth. Gave me tickets and backstage passes for their next show.

Yeah.....skinny fugger. Maybe 6’ tall or so in his fancy shoes but I doubt he went much, if any, over 160#’s.

Yep. He was nice. I figured he was 5’11” maybe 150.
Guess I should’ve taken a “selfie”. At that time I was 6’ 3” And 250.

I’d believe that Roger. He had on a pair of high healed Cowboy Boots when I met him.

How many knew they were environmentally conscious back in the day? And Dusty's bass stands out some.

Woman, grab your children, run and hide.
Don't let it catch up with you.
You gotta fight it to stay alive,
and if it gets you, man, you're through.

It smells so rotten and rank.
Well, everybody calls it the squank.

It's sick, depressin, gettin' bigger all the time.
Don't help it any way you can.
It's grey and brown and sometimes lime
and it's spreadin' all over the land.

And soon we'll be all breathin' out of tanks
if somethin' ain't done about the squank.

The meanest thing the world's ever bred
by me and you and my kinfold too.
A monster can't live unless it's fed,
and it's being fed by me and you.
And soon it's gonna leave the world blank,
and we'll all be erased by the squank.

The desert is a true treasure for him who seeks refuge from men and the evil of men.
In it is contentment
In it is death and all you seek

There’s a Netflix Documentary on them. Some of it filmed at Gruene Hall

We must be about the same age. Those tunes: La Grange, Tush, X, I'm Bad..., Cheap Sunglasses....well, damn. I guess I just got a little bit older.

Godspeed Dusty.

And those songs are at least a decade apart. Hill might not have been the powerhouse of that band, but was damn sure an important part.

I did post a “selfie” of me and R Lee Ermey, once.
And lots of gun pics. 🤠

Dusty Hill and Frank Beard started the band. They hired Billy Gibbons.
Probably a “pretty good” decision, though. 😬

Yup. He is the master of harmonics. For those of you who follow such. Of course, there will be some fringe types that will disagree.
