OLOL Childrens Hospital most recently received 11 patients with the Delta Variant, ages ranging from a few days old up to 17 yrs old with 6 in the ICU requiring respiratory assistance.
Rather new twist locally.

out of how many available, total? 20? ICUs in the Baton Rouge area are supposedly full. The only exception being the Old Baton Rouge General which only recently reopened its emergency services. Most that come to this location are ferried over to the Lady of The Lake, Oschners or the newer Baton Rouge General on Blubonnet. Children are routed to the new Lady of The Lake Childrens Hospital.
