Anyone running one?
What are your favorite loads? I recently had a Ruger #1 rebarreled with a 1:7.5 twist 26" Benchmark barrel.
Shot it yesterday with the 131 Ace bullets and the 128 hammers. 52 gr of 7828scc produced 3000 fps and flattened primers and some sticky ejection. Too fast of a powder I guess.
I had to start somewhere and now I know.
Going to start with 53 gr of RL33 this weekend and work up. Either bullet with decent pressure at 3000-3100 fps would make me happy.

I’m shooting one with 110 gr AB load of 59.7 grains of IMR7977. 100 gr TTSX over 58.1 grs of ImR4831. Both are shooting around 3/4” and I stopped there.

I was just amazed that only 52gr of imr 7828 would be that hot in my gun

My barrel is not what I would consider a fast twist. I think it is s 1-10.
I will go back and check the post on here on how it was built. I bought it cheap from someone who had gave up and moved on.

In my two 6.5-280 AI's, which are very similar to your 25-06 AI, Reloder 23 is FANTASTIC with 127 LRX, 135 Berger Classic Hunter and 140 Berger Elite Hunter bullets. Low ES's and single digit SD's just shy of 3000 fps with outstanding accuracy. IF you can find some, that's what I'd try first.

I used too, had a 10 twist barrel, ran 100gr TTSX's to 3550 fps over RL-22, quickest killer i've seen on deer, have a set of Redding dies and a Kenton Industries cap with zero stop for a bottle cap Leupold around here somewhere.

In a standard 25/06 I’ve had good luck with IMR 7977, Retumbo and the 110 Accubond, the 115 Berger VLD hunting and the Hornady 117 BTSP.

Fotis,
You might try Retumbo or R26 if you have either on hand. Both produced stellar results with my 1:7.5 twist 25-06 with The Ace Blackjacks and the new Berger 135s.

For now, I loaded RL33 and H1000. I also got a box of 135 gr Bergers, though not a fan of them.
