Regatta Day in Newfoundland,
Terry Fox Day in MB,
Saskatchewan Day in SK,
British Columbia Day in BC,
Natal Day in Nova Scotia and PEI,
Simcoe Day in Toronto,
New Brunswick Day in New Brunswick,
Colonel By Day in Ottawa,
Heritage Day in Alberta
and Ontario calls it the August Civic Holiday.
Whatever you call it, have a safe and outstanding holiday weekend.

I wouldn't mind taking my Grandson out fishing or shooting, but it is so smoky you cant go outside without a respirator.  I suspect there are People around who are doing alot worse than my family is presently, between the multi-faceted evacuations and breathing difficulties of some. Its going to be doing something indoors that is for certain.

Good afternoon, I hope you're all well as can be.
It's super thick here today - enough so I was thinking about bagging up some smoke to save for a clearer day, you know?
Then I ran out of stain and drove to Penticton - well I think I was in Penticton - who could say?
It's bugger though because there was nobody floating the channel and next to no one on the beaches.
We could use the tourist dollars down here in a bad way.
As you said though, it surely could be a ton worse so I'm not complaining about still being able to be in the house.

You mean you didn’t get the Canadian smoke over in Storm Lake?
I’m on my way to Houston and all the way from Wpg , I-29 over to 81 to Norfolk Ne,visibility was a mile or less at times.
