This CZ 452 FS has taken its place as my favorite .22 rifle, a place long held by the Nylon 66. Was not especially easy rifle to locate, and the USPS did everything possible to derail the deal, but eventually it appeared at my FFL guy. CZ got this rifle right!

They got the metal bit right but the wood bit would be better in the fireplace

Nice rifle! I dearly loved mine, but it was right handed, and I am not. Went to my oldest granddaughter. She loves it!

Nice. I like the look of a Mannlicher.

68 and this is the first Mannlicher I have owned.
I'd love a 550 in one.

I'd love a 550 in one. What caliber would you be looking for in a 550 platform? To say the CZ FS platform is one of my absolute favorite platforms is likely an understatement. Each of them is accurate and a joy to shoot!

If you get in the position of actively looking for a 550FS or 527FS, shoot me a note! I have a couple duplicates I’ve been contemplating letting go!

You shame me unmercifully.
I only have ten CZ rimfires, and four CZ 527s in various smallbore varmint cartridges.
I am humbled in your presence, sir.

Model 452 is a fine rifle. Safety the way it is and all. I don't have the slightest problem with the safety.

I do not mind the 452 safety at all, it is a very positive striker block safety and for me it is no different then pulling back the hammer on a lever rifle or a revolver to shoot. After using it for a while I found myself wishing that all safeties were a pull back rather than a push forward, it is a more natural movement to pull the safety back while shouldering the rifle rather than pushing it forward.
But then I have never been challenged by having to push a 10-22 safety sideways or opertating a tang safety either.

They got the metal bit right but the wood bit would be better in the fireplace I have to agree. The stock gave me considerable pause before I dropped the coin. Kind of surprised it passed inspection, frankly.

4 CZ's currently.
CZ 452 Ultra Lux .22 LR
CZ 452 American .22 WMR (very accurate for a .22 mag)
CZ 453 Varmint .22 LR
CZ 453 Varmint fluted barrel .17 HMR
If I get them out of the safe will try to snap a pic of the whole gang.
