Cabelas.com has BH209 @ $50/bottle

delivered to the closest store at no charge.

I'm not crazy about the price, but it'll get me the much needed practice!

I just cleaned out a nearby Walmart of 4 cans at $37 per can plus tax. That will take care of my brother and me for a while.

My local Wally World had 7 bottles today. 36.97 per bottle. Not to mention 777 and Pyrodex pellets. I would have bought some but at the end of last season I found several bottles of BH 209 on clearance for 14 dollars per. Bought all they had. Im set for a long time

Blackhorn leaves a sooty layer in the barrel after each shot, but the soot doesn't get any worse as the shot string goes on. No barrel cleaning between shots and no flyers because of a crud ring/fouling buildup. Velocity is higher also. Blackhorn also cleans up like smokeless.

BH doesn't degrade over time.

I'll happily take some free Blackhorn 209.

I use the Federal 209A, and to answer your question - NO.

Black MZ is repackaged American Pioneer powder. Alliant no longer markets it, but if you want some get Shooters World Multi Purpose Black loose powder or The Hunter pellets. The American Pioneer loose powder is citrus based and cleans easily, but is bad to absorb moisture. It may clump in the can after it has been opened. I bought several pounds of the Black MZ from Sportsmans Warehouse for use in black powder shotguns at $10 per pound.

Found three 10oz bottles of Blackhorn at the local Cabelas today, $50 each wad steep, but I needed it. Hopefully it will become a little easier to find in the near future.
