If there was something I could do i would but all I can do is pray, so here it goes....

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

Larry and family -

I mean it call me anytime. I can set up those pass(S) in a new york minute. If the flights look crummy I will burn a vacation pass and ride up with Sherry to give her a better chance on getting on the flight. It would be nice to sit a spell and get to know such fine people even better. There are wonderful people who really helped me out during a rough time frame and I cannot tell you how much it helped me, and it is my time to give back.

There is no time limit on the tickets and it would be more than a pleasure it would be a honor to help out. If you need help bee bopping back and forth while you are getting moved north, just gimmie a call at home or at work. (h) 281-337-1567 or work 281-556-2400.

God blessed me with the good fortune of being able to help out so allow me to use His gracious blessing for something so good. Take care and let me know what I can do and when. No time is a bad time to call. My best to you and yours.

Larry,

Good to hear you posting. Our family will continue to pray for your daughter and your family. My wife is an ICU nurse and I hear of these kinds of stories every time she works. It is amazing how resilient our bodies have been created and especially the young. Take care, try to get some rest, and Ill pray for continued peace and tranquility for you. Phil 4:6-7

Hello Friends,

I just heard from Larry, here is the lastest...

There is a bruise on the right side of Heathers brain which is causing swelling. The med's they were giving her had not been working so they tired some new more aggressive ones which didn't work either. Last night they did a surgical procedure where they drained some of the fluid around the brain to see if that would help, didn't work. They are now scheduled to preform brain surgery today at 4:00pm AK time to remove the bruise (and a portion of her brain). Larry is trying hard to remain the rock that he is.

Thank You for your continued support,
Sherry

Sherry, our prayers continue to be with you all. Can't imagine what you and Larry are going through, and being seperated to boot. Personally I think I'd tell your boss where to stick it! And take toons up on her offer. But then again I've found that most Women have the common sense to look at the "Big Picture" and usually do what's right.

Praying for Heathers full and quick recovery.

Hi All,

Talked to Larry this morning and when they went in for surgery they discovered a clot that they hadn't been able to see which was outsde of the brain...so the good news is they removed the clot w/out touching her brain. They also operated on her leg. They were to give her another CAT scan today to see if the brain pressue has gone down and take it from there.

Thanks,
Sherry

Larry here,

It is now 11:00 PM Alaska time and the docs have told us for the first time that things are finally starting to stabilize. I can't thank everyone enough for all the prayers and support. This is just so great to have everyone here with all the different support being offered. Sorry if it looks like jibberish but I just wanted to thank everyone since I got a chance to get on here.

Well stabilize is one thing and improvement seems to be another by the Doc's standards. I was initially depressed by the revelation because there doesn't seem to be any change in the cranial pressures. When we hear news that doesn't sound like real good news my ex-wife just spirals downward with me chasing after to help and getting caught up in things. I have faith in the Lord that this will resolve itself positively even if the road may be a long rough one. Today was no exception as after I heard what wasn't encouraging the ex was on the same path with me trying to help to no avail. Just then we encountered an old friend of mine that I hadn't seen in 6 years who told of his nephew that had a similar experience that was even worse. After telling all the horrifying detailes he proceded with; "After 8 months he woke from the coma and was like a baby not knowing anything. After 1 1/2 yrs of therapy he was just as before and only having problems with math that were solved with more useage af a calulator than before." We then saw a couple whose 5 yr old daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer only recorded in 47 previous cases worldwide. They sounded so upbeat that after the other story my ex was doing much better and so was I. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

Larry,

Have faith, my friend... Remember; "All things work together for good to them that serve the Lord." Sometimes it takes a while to understand the obstacles we are given in life. I really believe something positive will come from this trial. You remain in my prayers. BTW, thanks for the update, and keep them coming...

Larry, We will keep the prayers coming and light a candle in her honor.
May God look kindly on this young lady and help her through these trying times. May He also give you and yours comfort along this rocky road. Amen

Larry, the Ellisons will keep you and yours in our prayers. It is harder on you and the mrs now than on Heather. God grant you strength.

Larry,

We're still praying here too (just said bedtime prayers a little bit ago, in fact). Kylie is a warrior and will keep at it until somebody calls her off. Hang tough!
