Was up and at'em early this morning and hit a garage sale.
I bought a minty looking Walther LP-3 air pistol that came in the original box with the original paperwork (price $40.00).
Anyway the lady selling the thing told me up front that the pistol no longer "holds the air charge".
I do NOT know the first thing about air pistols but I fell in love with this Walther's looks, fit, balance and workmanship.
I need advice on where to send or inquire on repairing the cylinder air system.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Or an estimate on the pistols value so I could assess the practicality of repairing this LP-3.
Thanks in advance.

These two vendors can rebuild the pistol. I think it is worth many times more than you paid. Ill buy it if you don't want it, but you should get it rebuilt and enjoy.

Terryk: Thank you for the advice and direction - it is greatly appreciated.
Have to take the VarmintWife to the matinee right now but will get on it first thing Monday morning.
Thanks again.
By the way I was reading the "instruction book" and it relayed how the LP-3 comes from the factory with a "sight tool" and some additional rear sights (to "fit ones eyes or arm length"?) and low and behold under the foam liner of the factory serial numbered box was a clear envelope with the sight tool and the extra sight "blades" with differing "notch" widths.
I have just never seen such a well made "air pistol" and can't wait to get the air holding problem fixed so I can shoot it.
