Getting the season started off right. This buck came in on the second day - pretty buck - 13", should make P&Y by a couple inches. Shot over a waterhole from a ground blind at 26 yards. Been bowhunting for over 30 years now, this never gets old.

Congrats! Pronghorns are a blast to bow hunt, and are very under rated as a game animal, in my view.

Ping pong balls for the win. Once you've wrestled everything else in life is easy. Dan Gable I keep my circle small, I’d rather have 4 quarters than 100 pennies.
Ain’t easy havin pals.

Beautiful buck. The epitome for most bow seasons and here you've got him in August ! No matter what transpires in the next few months you've already had a good year. My congrats as well.🏹👍

Mmmmm, had some antelope tenderloins last night. Oh so good. I put them in a George Forman grill for about 5 minutes with a little Johnny's Seasoning Salt and man, that was delicious.
That grill works great for lean game meat. It quickly sears the outsides then kind of slow cooks the middle. Doesn't take all night and is easy to clean up. Give it a try if you have one.

Got the Euro mount back last week. Looks pretty cool I think. FWIW: I scored him right at 75". Pretty surprising because the horns are only 13"- the mass is pretty good and must have made up the difference. Pope an Young min is 67" so he would easily make that. Somewhere in the 80" range is where they really are giants around here.

Don’t think I’ve ever seen a euro antelope mount. That is sweet. Congratulations.
