Glad I've got two Fieldcrafts.

Old pic of my 6C and Harvester...real pleased to have a 22-250 8 twist opened up to 22C by Shaen and sporting a Nomad topped with another 6X SS.

If I happen to find a 6.5C I will buy it for sure. Not that I need it, the 22 with 88's and 6 with 108's will kill everything for me.

Ask Melvin how well that’ll work.

I know, it’s like Socialism, not been tried by the right people yet. Oh yeah!

From Barrett's perspective, who cares if it works well or not. If someone is willing to pay for the rights, design, etc, they would be wise to recoup some money from the R&D, marketing, etc from a rifle they don't plan on building again.

What could be interesting is Barrett "divides" the company
Contract work in one division and consumer work in another.

That seems to make sense in my head at least.

I wouldn't have a rifle that you had to ziptie the bolt to keep it closed...

That was a joke for all those who won’t buy a FC because the bolt is not locked…too late but I should have used a pink zip tie.

The Fieldcraft is in fact rather "tender" and should always be "pampered". Hint.

It is rather disconcerting, how "easily" the bolts open "accidentally"...you Whining CLUELESS Fhuqktards. Hint.

I did look, but a Field Craft never impressed me, especially with what they were asking for them....and then the problems I have read posted on the campfire by those who bought one and were highly disappointed...

The Rugers, Winchester Model 70s, the Remington 700s I have, just seem to be doing the job just fine...

I'd feel lost if I had ONE rifle to rely on and then it turned out to be an overpriced POS...

My memory is fading but are you the guy from the PNW that called Sierra the morning you wounded a deer rather than going for the recovery?

Let me search, I bet I can find the thread faster than the guy found the deer....
