I love strawberry preserves. Haven't bought/looked for any beef in ages. Trying to use up last years venison before this season starts. Mennonite and Amish grocery stores here have some good strawberry preserves. There is another outfit, may be online now Das Jam Haus, makes very good strawberry jam and preserves. Yep, we've got a Mennonite deli/grocery not far from here. They sell lots of homemade jams/jellies and baked goods. Got an Amish bakery close by too. Lots of Amish and Mennonites in the area. Did you ask if they are hiring?

Just a recent dip in meat prices here. I have gotten to where ai watch a little sale paper that comes in the mailbox.
Been running 2.99-3.99 for ground beef, (70/30) 80/20 about 4.39
Ribeyes been $16-18 a lb for just Select. sheesh
Got some good deals around Memorial Day $5.99 lb whole ribeyes Aint hardly eat none of those 4 whole we got vac sealed
But seeing these 7.29, still a good price, go ahead and get it and vac seal, date it. I’ve had em last 3-4 years in chest freezer.
I’m waiting for Boston Butts to go .99-1.29 a lb Get about 6-8 more of them. Just a waiting game That's how you hurt em. Buy...vac...freeze
I am MAGA.

I find it hard to believe you'd rather work for the Amish than suck cock at the truck stop for pocket change but I'll ask next time I'm in there if you're really interested. When should I tell them you're available to start ?

The horror. You ever stopped at their processing facility/retail outlet in Evergreen Al?

We have a small chest freezer stuffed full of homemade freezer jam, in case we get the Beetus shakes. A bunch of different flavors but the strawberry is the best.
A peanut butter sandwich with a big glob of strawberry jam straight out of the freezer is the best thing ever.

Hey Slumlord The CB stores in Dickson had pork butts for $1.49/lb last week, I grabbed 6 as I really have not seen them that cheap in awhile and I am getting ready to do my fall BBQ cooking for the winter. I smoke a bunch of Q and vacuum bag it for the winter. Got Brisket and ribs bought up already. Just waiting on a little cooler weather to do the cook.
I may not be smart but I can lift heavy objects
I have a shotgun so I have no need for a 30-06.....
