Went down to work on my friend's place and did a little fishing. Didn't land anything big but the yellowtail were crazy on top spoons and picked up a decent halibut jigging. Broke off two big groupers and had two other bites. I made some good eats with the Halibut and then the yellowtail with ribeyes.

If we had just concentrated on yellows it would have been fast action the whole time, only had a few hours each of two days so spent the majority of time going after groupers.

I've never eaten a grouper that I wouldn't have traded for a halibut in a nanosecond. I blistered my hand catching salmon on a trip to Alaska, but when it came time to ship home 50# of fillets, it was 100% halibut.

My other auto is a .45

The bitterness of poor quality is remembered long after the sweetness of low price has faded from memory
