Anyone used this powder on your magnum rifles. It looks like a good alternate to H1000, Retumbo or RE 26.

Used some in my ..257 WBY. Without looking it up (if memory serves) it produced good accuracy and velocity. I'll have to find my notes to confirm.

I've used it my 300 RUM with 220gr Sierra Match Kings. Very consistent, similar to Retumbo in that manner.

At the range right now testing in a 28 Nosler with 180 Berger hybrid. Started at 87, working up to 90.5. Showing some promise so far...

89.5 won the day. 3 shots in the .3s

Haven't run them over the Chrono yet. Next step will be to shoot some groups at 200 and 300, see if the groups hold. Then I'll run them over the magnetosphere and shoot at 600. Will definitely post up numbers when I get them.

On the surface, I'd say LRT is too slow for that cartridge. You could likely just stuff it full and be fine pressure wise.

I'd have to double check but I am sure it worked well in my .257 WBY

LRT is slower-burning than Ramshot Magnum, which has proven to work about as well as any powder in the .257 Weatherby--but any new powder is worth a try.

Right now am working with LRT for an upcoming article on newer powders and bullets in the .257 Weatherby. So far April in Montana has been too windy for realistic range-tests, but suspect LRT will work well....

My experience with TAC, Big Game, Hunter and Magnum is they're all pretty temp-resistant--especially Big Game and Magnum.

We had wind that would make a person seasick in a car and then the past 2 days were so quiet and warm. I was able to get a lot of loads tested in my .375 H&H and some others.
But today it is blowing and snowing again.

I look forward to the article. Can you say which magazine it will be in?
