We started filling our sileage bags on Thurs. Filled the 100' and started on the 200' now. Going well with the chopping, but had bag issues coming off the bagger on the second bag. Cost us a bunch of time or we would have been done by now.

Unreal the number of diary farms that now crop farm and
run some nasty black cows.

Sure seems to be a lot more chopping being done around here this year than usual - especially given the fact that hardly anyone has cattle.

The crop adjuster said the corn runs near 260 bushels, that always goes down with drying, and combining.

Corn is yielding pretty good down here-some that went in a pit was estimated at 244 bu/ac.

I know of one family that has started shelling- moisture is around 20. But most of the crop isn't that dry yet

Might be the best yielding crop ever in this county
