That pic above the sunrise pic is a legit booner. Just saw him two weeks ago scouting after I got my pronghorn. Fingers crossed, ashes in the area I’ll be hunting.

Clearly it's a doe. The bucks have antlers.

BIL pulled this one out of the 'breeding stock' ..... Kinda looks like a goat was in the woodpile.

Copied these from another post. The rut is on, so these guys are out calling the ladies. A good shot when one can count their teeth. Came upon this guy while hiking some of the potential moose ground. Found some sleepy bison in Yellowstone I think this was either along the Yellowstone or Madison No idea on the location Probably the stoutest bull encountered and one of the smaller guys.

Great thread. I am ready to go.
Headed out tomorrow to New Mexico. My friend here put his daughter in for an Arizona youth tag…where I don’t know, only that it was a highly coveted tag. Her First time elk hunting and I believe she’s about 14-15 or so. Just saw the pic tonight. Either a clean 6x6 or 7x7….I was in too much shock to count points. Measured in the 390+ range. Just an unbelievable bull.

Congrats to all this year who made a hunt…. Killed the first legal bull I saw after thinking it over about 2 seconds…. 308 hand load with a 168 federal trophy bonded tip.

I could have killed 3-4 raghorns yesterday when after mule deer. Elk doesn't start until Thursday.
It is going to be a good couple of weeks...
