Norm used to get invited on some fairly stuffy Canadian news shows because he was Joyce Napier's brother in law and she's a bit of a big time political journalist or at least a facsimile of one. Anyways, if he was on it was surely watchable TV for a change! He had a way of ripping on people and the less bright ones weren't cognizant of the process until the rip was pretty huge. Norm wasn't much older than me, so he's of my "time" I guess, but indeed he made me laugh many, many times. RIP Norm. All the best to you all down there in the south deflave.
