In the past, any complaints about the price of gas were met with accusations of being un-American, anti-capitalism, and a kicker of dogs. What puzzles me is that those who set the prices didn't take advantage of the hurricane as an excuse to jack up prices.

My feelings exactly. Probably will explore nearby Ohio prices. I took a trip to Benezette, right before the 2020 election. The VAST majority of signs along the way indicated huge support for Trump. I firmly believe the election was stolen. Actually doing something besides voting, in a state run by Democrats and RINO's, is difficult. You could stomp around and be ignored I guess, but any actual change has to be legislative, and you simply cannot accomplish that by protesting. My wife and I have written to legislators. Its about all you can do. I imagine most of our letters end up in the trash.
