This may all be yesterday's news, but I'll put it out here just in case.

So I came across Reeds Ammunition and Research on gunbroker while looking for jacketed bullets for my 32 H&R. On his website he lists several .228 Bullets, which of course are all presently out of stock. I emailed him asking if he had any in-stock as some small outfits do not update their on-line catalogs very well. His reply was that "We will have more in the near future". Whenever that is?

So, I do not have a 22 Savage Hi-Power, I was just inquiring on your behalf, as I have seen folks looking for same.

I know nothing about his .228 caliber bullets.

I did inquire if he had a certain 30-30 bullet, which he said he did. Surprised me as no one else had them in stock & his price was significantly less than Midways (approx. $23 vs approx. $33). So I took a chance and ordered three boxes (Speer 130 grain HCFN). No communication whatsoever, but they did show up. Took just over two weeks (pay by check only).

Jerry

Reed's are good. I've used their .228 bullets a few times over the years.

before I found my cache I tried several time at Reeds, never in stock, BUT, like other sources, you have to be quick and the right time. Ken

I've used the Reed's 70gr and 60gr in my HP 22 when it didn't like shooting the Norma stuff. Turns out the Norma bullets are .224 and my 1915 HP had a bigger appetite. Was finally making round holes instead of keyholes.
