Heavy bullets for more penetration. I want a mold for 150 that looks like the commercial 150 gr red powder coated bullets with the WLN shape. Thanks and Be Well, RZ.

In 9mm, I use a Lyman #358212, an obsolete 150 grain roundnose .38 Special design; the most accurate bullet I've found so for. I prefer Bullseye powder, but HS-6 is not far behind in accuracy.

I want the Meplat for its smack down in a dinky caliber below 0.450" diameter. Be well, RZ.

Long bullet RZ, i'd look straight to Power Pistol powder, meters well, very compact, you should have that bullet resting firmly on a nice mildly compressed charge, extra velocity will be no problem getting if you choose to gas it up a little.

Thought about this and I like the Power Pistol idea if I can go subsonic with it. Thanks G500 and Be Well, RZ.

Gunner500 I don't see Power Pistol at either of my suppliers. Midway says No Backorder. Not sure what to do yet. Be Well, RZ.

FWIW, I load a lot of 9x19mm using a 150 gr (actual 148) coated lead SWC over 3.2 gr of Titegroup. This chronos at 943 FPS from a Beretta M-92F. You could probably safely bump that up to 3.4 gr IMHO. I don't know who makes these moulds, but this style of bullets are sold by Brazos Bullets, Missouri Bullet Co., Bayou Bullets, ACME, and several others, I am sure. Hope this helps.

I need to be able to cast them at times. Thanks for the references because they may close the gaps while getting lead to cast. Be Well, RZ.
