OP mjbgalt Campfire Ranger M Joined: Jan 2008 Posts: 15,746	Wife likes my creation. I slap cheese on two pieces of bread and put ham or turkey in the middle. Squish it flat. Throw a tablespoon of butter into a pan on high. Brown the sandwich on one side and then the other in that hot butter. Damn is that good. Just accidentally made a sandwich that way one day when I was afraid the hard butter would tear the bread so I put the butter in the pan instead of the outside of the bread. Sometimes accidents taste great

I usually make grilled cheese by putting butter on the outside of the bread and frying it. So this was an evolved form of that lol Melts the cheese. Heats the meat. Crisps the bread. And the Kelly salted butter adds tons of flavor.
