My Kawasaki Mule 4010 Trans 4x4 is the most often used piece of equipment I own.

Heavy payload and towing capacity. It pulls a 16' welding trailer like it's not even back there.

Frame, floor, bed, etc, are 100% steel.

I'd buy another.
I think they make a diesel too.

I have had 2 kubota diesels 2006 Kubota RTV 900 cab with 1100 hours that was bullet proof sold it to purchase another 2021 Kubota RTV 1100c with cab & snow plow.If your looking for a heavy duty UTV that wants to work buy the Kubota.

My neighbor told me to drive his Kubota utv 400cc for a week while he was out of town before he got back I parked it in his driveway and bought a mule pro Mx 700cc wow what a difference not long after he got hung on a small rock above his house and dug trenches with 4wd guess what pulled it out

Agree on the Mule Pros. They’re bullet proof.

went to Lowes tonight - they had 6 SXS out front in various seating /bed combinations. I didn't really check them out but they had "high output" stamped on the hood

We have a Polaris Ranger XP900, fairly light use and it has been fine.

I'd go Honda if they have a good cold weather cab. Honda's are tougher than hell.

Polaris... they will break if you are really hard on them.


That said we moved cows today and there were 3 new Rangers in the fleet and nobody broke down....lol


The Northstar edition is sweet, but $$$.

Ol' yeller is a Honda, the other two Polaris.

The guy with yeller also has a fancy JD Gator but he said it's more of a farm rig versus offroad cow chaser.

Power steering is real nice

I bought the 825M john deere last September and it does everything I need, not like the fast machines this does 45mph. It has high/low range and low is low. Has good clearance, push button 4x4 and power steering. Electronic ignition and it would fire right up at -20

Not sure what brand they sell there, but avoid the ones at TSC "Coleman" brand and any other Hisun brand.

POS, and warranty and service/parts places are few and far between.

Buy a reputable rig from a reputable dealer.

I have a Kubota 1100C I do not need a race horse. I need it to work.
factory A/C and Heat sold cab tat does not rattle your brain Diesel so you can let it sit with out the worry of the gs going bad.
Those are the good things
Bad thing it is a real slug going up steep hills.
My Dealer told me that they have an after market Turbo for it now that may help with the hills.
I absolutely Love mine with the heat in the winter and A/C for the summer and the Hydro. bed dump is GREAT.

yea I agree, they are probably Chinese, I was just surprised the had them and given the supply chain issues, they actually had 6 of them

just checked, they are Hisun (which is Vietnamese) They go by the Axis brand name. The 4 seater 4X4 is almost $15K.

One of my trail partners mentioned today that it might be next March before his Ranger shows up. He ordered it earlier this summer.

A flyer came in todays mail from Polaris announcing the 2022 line up. LOL

First time I saw a Mule pro crew cab it was a demo model from a dealer that the dealer was letting a guide service use for duck hunting.

It was pulled off a levee into a flooded Rice field and snapped a front A-arm. Had 15 miles on it. I helped get him out with my Ranger and he limped back to trailer.

This was 5 or 6 years ago? Maybe they are using stronger components now.

I like my FXT Pro Ranch and would buy one again. The FX Pro is the single bench version, while the MX Pro is a totally different machine, more like the old-school Mules. Bill Wilson of Wilson Combat uses the FXT Pros on his ranch for hog hunts and racks up lots of miles on them. I’ve seen him talk about his mods and his experiences on the UTV forums. If they’d put a automotive transmission in them, like Honda, they’d be nearly perfect, I think. Not had issues with the Kawi transmission, but I like gears over belts
