Yes I have. Started by getting it on paper (irons and VX5HD 2-10) with some factory Remington 270gr rounds. Accuracy was acceptable; velocity around 2725fps. Set the gun aside and shot a couple of others. Unfortunately weather precluded me from more shooting that day. Went home and cleaned the rifle.

Took the 375H&H out a couple of days later with some reloads that I was working up. Long story short, I'm going to be shooting the 260gr Nosler Partition (thanks Mule Deer) over 71gr of RL15, in a Rem case and Fed 215 primer. Accuracy was an easy 3/4" @ 100yds (scoped) and velocity was in the 2675fps area.

I never thought I'd grow up to be a grumpy old man, but I did, and I'm killin' it.

You may not be aware of the sound of the shot, but that doesn't mean that your ears won't suffer the same damage as if you did notice it.

Wear hearing protection when you shoot. Every shot. Electronic muffs are too good and too inexpensive not to. Tinnitus sucks.

Whitworth Express rifles in 375 and 458 were sold with 3 leaf rear open sights. However, some were sold as barreled actions and do not have sights installed, nor the recoil lug on the barrel the complete Withworths got. Does yours have such a lug?
