ALASKA is a "HARD COUNTRY for OLDMEN". (But if you live it wide'ass open, balls'to the wall, the pedal floored, full throttle, it is a delightful place, to finally just sit-back and savor those memories while sipping Tequila).

As a neighbor of yours, I assume you know him? I go to Hope, AK. roughly once every two or three years. I knew the lady, at the Hope Post Office, but I think she retired a few years ago.

The residents of Cooper Landing and Summit Lake do not live in Hope, Alaska yet they also have the same traditional subsistence rights. You being a "certified" metropolitan city resident......don't. You just get to snivel and cry like a winey baby.
