Yesterday I was thinking about what Rush would be saying on his program were he alive today. My mind wanders back to the past often. Rush has been compared to other host, or better yet he is the standard to which they are measured. He made a critical decision that Hannity, Beck, and others have either chosen to not make or are not able. He was his own man. They are not. They answer to superiors. Rush did not do that and was able to address things without the influence of the likes of Fox News, as Hannity has to answer. He also had a genuine passion for what he chose to address. He truly believed in the sanctity of life so opposing abortion was easy for him. He truly believed that America was founded by men inspired by God so it was just natural for him to defend that. He also knew the enemy and as far as I ever knew never coddled them. Hannity is lukewarm to the 2nd Amendment. Rush was very much in favor of it. He was a Godsend to those of us that love freedom and I'm patiently waiting for God to send his next spokesman. Rush always said he could read the stitches on the fast ball. We should all be aspiring to do that. God bless his memory, his wife, family and friends. God bless America!

No one appears to be in Rush's legue. sadly so. I would love to hear his view these days... Yeah, he was one of a kind. I was a huge Rush fan from the late 1980s, till about when Bush 43 presided over the War On Terror, and all the new agencies he presided over the creation of, essentially undoing the US Bill of Rights, and Rush's constant defense of same. I got soured on him after that. During the Obama administration, I started to like him again, but not nearly to the degree that I liked him prior to the Bush 43 fiasco.

It is still hard to believe he is gone. I probably heard more words come out of Rush's mouth than anyone else I've ever heard speak.
The biggest problem our country has is not systemic racism, it's systemic stupidity.

Bush 43 fooled a lot of people.. including me, at the time. He finally stopped lying and revealed what he is, an anti-American globalist. This has been written many times since Bush left office. The Bush clan are "Masters of Deceit".

Who will carry the torch? With the loss of Rush we conservatives will lose more ground........ if possible.
i feel like the Jews in the early 30's. Sitting back while our freedoms are taken away and we become the lesser humans in the eyes of the ruling class. At some point we are going to say why did we not stop this? We are too far gone as they load us on the box cars.

You have to realize an endorsement from you has the value of a cigarette butt on a sidewalk.
I was thinking the other day how much I used to hate Bill Clinton. He was freaking George Washington compared to what they are now.

Simple but true statement. He was such a great loss. The afternoons are not the same without Rush. There’s an emptiness felt by millions without him. I wish he had left a worthy successor. I agree. Same here. Rush was the first and the best for his time. Dan Bongino is the man for our time and has more than filled Rush's spot. He is kicking commie ass on a daily basis and in some ways does it better than Rush did because of his real world experience.

If only someone could post a sermon that helps me relate to what's going on in our lives during these evil times.

I don't find them anywhere near equivalent to Rush. Wish Bongino was in that time slot here.

We have Clay and Buck down here too. Pretty good show, but nowhere close to Rush, IMHO. Rush’s ability to expose and humiliate the communists was unparalleled. I’m really surprised that he didn’t have a successor picked out.
